Career Support

O4B offers resources and real support to help our members navigate their internship and job search with confidence.

Career Pods

As a first year, you'll join a Career Pod - a small, focused mentorship group matched specifically to your target industry. You'll receive tailored advice from a second-year mentor who's been in your shoes, helping you polish your resume, master your interviews, and land your dream internship or job.

Aidan Warren WG ‘26 - Consulting

“My career mentor prepared me for every step in the recruiting process - from how to navigate networking events to how to pass my consulting case interviews. With their help I was able to land an internship at my target company.

Jimmy O’Riordan WG ‘26 - Investment Banking

“My Career Pod of second-years was instrumental in helping me secure a role in investment banking. From day one, we had dedicated support - crafting tailored resumes that stood out to banks, perfecting our pitches and stories, providing a constant forum for questions throughout the intense three-month recruiting cycle, holding invaluable mock interviews, and sharing industry best practices. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without their guidance and encouragement.

ROMBA Conference

The ROMBA Conference is the world's largest gathering of LGBTQ+ business students and alumni held annually in the fall. The event includes a variety of panels, workshops, receptions, and a career fair with dozens of corporate partners across industries recruiting MBA talent.

Wharton attends each year, and members of the O4B board coordinate student participation, organize pre-conference prep sessions, and support attendees in maximizing networking and recruiting opportunities during the event.

Shreya Dalal WG ‘25 - ROMBA Student Organizer

“ROMBA has shaped every stage of my MBA journey.

I first connected with the community through the pre-MBA tech trek in Seattle, which helped me land my summer internship. At the conference, I competed and placed in both the tech and consulting competitions, and secured that internship through the judge’s referral. I later found my full-time role through a coffee chat at my second ROMBA.

Beyond the career impact, ROMBA was a space to build genuine friendships, and it was enormously impactful in my personal life while I was coming out to more people.

Organizing the conference my second year was my way of giving back to the community and connecting with the largest cohort of LGBTQ+ MBA student leaders from across the country.”
